Now Accepting Speaker Proposals
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation is bringing TPM practitioners, healthcare employers, educators, and workforce changemakers together in Phoenix for the first-ever TPM® Healthcare Industry Summit. We’re looking for practical, employer-led sessions that show how Talent Pipeline Management is being applied to real healthcare workforce challenges — and that send attendees home with something they can use.
We welcome individual and team proposals from across the network: TPM Academy® graduates and current participants, employers and education partners in TPM Employer-led Collaboratives, NTC Healthcare Accelerator partners, and funders and sponsors. Whether you’re new to speaking or a seasoned presenter, this is your chance to shape the conversation.
- TPMxHEALTHCARE (5 minutes): Real-world employer-led healthcare workforce solutions and collaborative case studies.
- INFORM (20 minutes): Research, data, trends, and policy insights that help leaders understand the healthcare workforce landscape.
- DESIGN (40 minutes): Interactive sessions that help participants build, refine, or improve healthcare talent pipeline strategies.
- APPLY (60 minutes): Implementation-focused sessions that provide tools, lessons learned, and practical guidance.
Selected speakers enjoy several exclusive benefits:
- Valuable Networking & Recognition: Elevate your profile and gain recognition among 100+ top healthcare employers, workforce systems innovators, and industry peers.
- Travel & Accommodations: To support your participation, selected speakers may receive a travel stipend and up to two nights of complimentary hotel lodging.
- Impactful Contribution: Position yourself and your organization as a thought leader by showcasing real-world, scalable solutions to today’s crucial workforce challenges.
We’re looking for presenters who can deliver engaging, content-rich sessions built on their own experience applying TPM to healthcare workforce challenges. Sessions can speak broadly to a general audience or dig into a specific role, setting, or application — rural health systems, small and mid-sized providers, allied health pipelines, a single credential or occupation.
What gets priority:
- Employer-led sessions. The strongest proposals are anchored in what an employer or Collaborative actually did, not what could be done in theory.
- Real results. Tell us what changed — hires, retention, time-to-fill, partnerships formed, programs launched. Evidence beats intention.
- Something tangible to take home. Tools, templates, frameworks, playbooks. Attendees should leave with more than notes.
- Active engagement. Especially for Design and Apply sessions, we favor proposals with a workshop or hands-on component over straight presentation.
- Partner voices. Team proposals are welcome, and not every presenter needs to be a TPM Academy® graduate. If an employer, educator, or funder in your work brings a different perspective, bring them with you.
We welcome proposals across these themes — and we’re open to ideas we haven’t thought of.
- Employer engagement and retention
- Data strategies for healthcare workforce planning
- Job quality and career pathways
- Healthcare apprenticeships
- Removing barriers to entry and advancement
- Clinical and allied health talent pipelines
- Education and employer partnership models
- Funding and sustainability
- Rural and underserved community strategies
- Credentialing, licensure, and upskilling
- AI and technology in healthcare work
- Scaling TPM across a health system or region
