TPM® Healthcare Leadership Council & Industry Summit

For more than a decade, Talent Pipeline Management® (TPM) has helped employers lead talent solutions across 40+ industries. And the most valuable learning has come from advanced practitioners who are implementing TPM every day. 

Thanks to recent grant funding, we are launching our first ever National TPM Leadership Council and TPM Industry Summit focused on healthcare.  

The TPM Healthcare Leadership Council will be a community of practice (CoP) that is meant to offer structured, collaborative learning environment designed to leverage the collective expertise of our most advanced practitioners. This is an opportunity to move beyond isolated problem-solving and tap into the power of shared learning, peer support, and collective action. 

The TPM Healthcare Industry Summit is a national convening designed to bring healthcare employers together to solve shared workforce challenges using the Talent Pipeline Management® (TPM) framework.  

We’re inviting you to help us build something new and there are three opportunities to engage.

Why a Community of Practice? Why Now?

The healthcare industry faces unprecedented workforce challenges—from skills gaps and retention issues to the rapid disruption of AI and the urgent need for skills-based hiring strategies. While individual employer collaboratives are making progress, we know that many of you are tackling similar obstacles, often reinventing solutions that others have already tested.

A Community of Practice creates a structured space for you to:

  • Learn faster by surfacing what’s working (and what’s not) across regions
  • Solve problems together that are too complex or resource-intensive to tackle alone
  • Influence the national conversation by validating and spreading proven practices
  • Deepen employer engagement through shared tools, frameworks, and peer accountability
  • Shape the future of TPM by informing network-wide resources, tools, and policy priorities

This CoP will focus on the challenges best solved collectively: operationalizing skills-based hiring, assessing AI impacts on priority healthcare roles, deepening employer leadership, setting shared performance goals, and identifying opportunities for data-driven solutions that extend beyond geographic boundaries.

We are seeking a premier TPM National Learning Network partner to serve as a regional co-host for an upcoming Healthcare Industry Summit.

Role of a Co-Host

The co-host serves as a strategic partner in shaping and anchoring the summit. Responsibilities may include:

  • Helping recruit healthcare employers from the region to participate
  • Providing regional context to inform agenda development
  • Supporting local outreach and promotion
  • Exploring alignment with existing healthcare conferences or convenings, when applicable
  • Support procurement of a meeting space, local logistics, and day of execution.

The co-host is not expected to manage national logistics or curriculum development, which are supported by the TPM team.

Organizations selected as co-hosts will:

  • Be recognized nationally as a TPM Healthcare Industry Summit Co-Host
  • Help position their region as a leader in healthcare workforce innovation
  • Gain visibility among healthcare employers, funders, and policymakers
  • Influence summit themes, employer problem statements, and outcomes
  • Create momentum for ongoing healthcare TPM collaboration in their region
  • Participation in our first ever TPM Healthcare Community of Practice
  • Receive $15K in administrative support
