TPM Annual Employer Engagement Survey

Help us capture the employer collaborative work happening across the TPM National Learning Network. The 2026 survey collects current information about the collaboratives you support, including employer participation, funding, TPM strategies, and measurable results, to inform our data and dashboard work.

The survey closes in mid-November. Please review the FAQs below and gather your collaborative information before beginning.

FAQs

We hope to capture information about your experience starting and/or supporting employer collaboratives, particularly over the past year. The survey asks about the employer collaboratives you currently support or work with, including:

  • Collaborative name, your role, and colleagues who share responsibility.
  • Current status, primary industry, and geographic area.
  • Number of employers engaged and funding sources.
  • TPM strategies used, outcomes tracked, and available measurable results.
  • Collaborative websites and supporting links.

You may report up to ten collaboratives in one response. This survey focuses on employer collaborative information rather than individual expertise.

TPM practitioners from the National Learning Network who support or work with employer collaboratives should complete the survey using current information. Depending on how your implementation team is organized, you might choose to have one person submit on behalf of all the employer collaboratives your team supports.

We strongly encourage teams to coordinate before submitting and select one person to report shared collaborative information to help avoid duplicate or conflicting responses.

For each collaborative, identify the colleagues inside or outside your organization who share responsibility for managing, coordinating, or supporting it. Include their full names, organizations, and email addresses, if available. This helps the TPM team follow up with the appropriate people and reconcile overlapping information. The colleagues you list may differ for each collaborative.

We strongly encourage teams to coordinate before submitting and select one person to report shared collaborative information to help avoid duplicate or conflicting responses.

Unfortunately, there is no way to save your work once you start. We suggest that you collect all of the information you might need on your employer collaboratives prior to beginning the survey.

Have the following information available for each collaborative:

  • Official collaborative name and current status.
  • Names and organizations of colleagues involved.
  • Primary industry and geographic area served.
  • Number of distinct employer organizations engaged.
  • Funding sources and TPM strategies used.
  • Outcomes being tracked and any available results, including the reporting period.
  • Relevant websites or supporting links.

When reporting employer participation, count distinct employer organizations, not individual attendees, facilities, training providers, or other partners.

Depending on how much information you collect in advance the survey should only take 15-30 minutes to complete. 15 minutes if you come completely prepared and have a handful of collaboratives, 30 minutes if you need some time to list out your collaboratives and find accompanying information.

Your responses will help update the TPM Activity Dashboard and support thousands of TPM practitioners, employers, and provider partners in their TPM efforts across North America.

You can expect your responses to be reflected in the TPM Activity Dashboard by January 2027.

“EC” stands for employer collaborative. The number identifies the collaborative you are reporting in that section: EC01 refers to your first collaborative, EC02 to your second, and so on. These labels help us organize your responses and keep each collaborative’s information together. Answer each section’s questions about the collaborative named in that section.

Please email TPMSupport@uschamber.org with questions about the survey.
