New Platform, Same Commitment to Your Learning
TPM Co/Lab™, the learning platform that powers the TPM Academy®, is upgrading to a new Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance your training experience. We’re transitioning from Matrix to Absorb, a modern platform designed to better support your learning journey. This move will take place between May 15–19, 2025, during which time the system will be temporarily unavailable. To help you navigate this change smoothly, we’ve compiled answers to some of the most frequently asked questions below. General FAQ
TPM Co/Lab, which powers the TPM Academy, is transitioning from Matrix to Absorb to provide a more modern, user-friendly, and scalable learning experience. Absorb offers better support and functionality for learners at every stage of their TPM journey.
Matrix will be shut down on May 15, 2025. Our new platform, Absorb, will officially launch on May 19, 2025. During May 15–19, the LMS will be unavailable.
Only completed Strategies will be recorded and transferred to the new platform. If you’re partway through a Strategy, it will be marked as incomplete. Please complete any active Strategies by May 15.
Yes. If you participated in a past TPM Academy cohort, you’ll retain access to eLearning content in the new Absorb platform. However, your uploaded documents and assignments will not transfer.
Personal files or assignments uploaded to Matrix will not transfer. You must download any files you want to keep before May 15, 2025.
Only your Strategy-level progress will transfer. Assignments and personal uploads will not be migrated. Please download anything important before May 15.
If you’re part of an active TPM Academy cohort that extends beyond May 15, you’ll continue learning seamlessly in the new platform. Your Strategy-level progress will be saved, and your work will resume in Absorb.
You’ll receive an email with your Absorb login credentials and instructions on May 19, 2025. The onboarding process will be easy and supported by our team.
To prepare: complete any in-progress Strategy modules, download all personal files and documents you’ve uploaded to Matrix, and watch for the launch email with Absorb login info on May 19.
Yes. The TPM Co/Lab platform will be offline from May 15 to May 19 during the migration. No access to Matrix or Absorb will be available during that time.
