Taylor was born and raised in Eastern San Diego and returned home after receiving her a bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. During her time at Syracuse, Taylor worked as a Research Assistant in the Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs. After graduating, she joined the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation as the Coordinator for Investor Relations. She then serves as the Manager of Investor Relations & Communications, then the Manager and Senior Manager of Talent Initiatives. She currently serves as the Director of Talent Initiatives.
