Mary Anne Sheahan is the Chief Talent Officer at the Vermont Business Roundtable, where she develops and implements sustainable talent pipelines and apprenticeships. Previously, she served as the Executive Director of the Vermont Business Roundtable Foundation and Vermont Talent Pipeline, focusing on employer-driven, demand-based strategies that reflect industry best practices and genuine employer needs, with an emphasis on collective impact and decision-making. Trained in the Talent Pipeline Management® (TPM) framework by the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation in 2017, Mary Anne is a TPM National Fellow and Academy Faculty Member. Her past roles include Executive Director of Leadership Champlain at the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber and Vice President of Academics at Middlebury Interactive Languages. Mary Anne has also worked as a Project Manager and Process Improvement Specialist at Burton Snowboards and the University of Vermont. She holds a master’s degree in business administration and is a certified Project Management Professional. Additionally, she serves on the Vermont State Workforce Development Board and the boards for Career and Technical Education and Vermont Works for Women.
