Leah was first introduced to Talent Pipeline Management when she was Senior Director, Workforce Strategies and Inclusive Growth at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce before and through the pandemic years. She completed the TPM Academy in 2020, and since then has become a Mentor, Faculty support, and Fellow. She is serving as a consultant to TPM projects in Canada involving the forest product sector (national in scope) and as an advisor focusing on the mining sector in Baie Verte, Newfoundland. She currently resides in Edmonton and works in residential construction as the Senior Director, Operations and Governance with the BILD (Building Industry and Land Development) Alberta.
Her previous experience includes time at the federal and provincial government levels, and in the non-profit and charitable sectors in areas including health human resources, immigrant labor market integration, international education, humanitarian responses and global defense.
