Deborah Majeski

Deborah has over 36 years of leadership at DTE, serving as Manager, Center of Excellence-Workforce Development. Her team, united with community partners and DTE leaders are responsible for developing and managing talent pipelines for the company and its industry partners.
Launched a Customer Service Professional Certificate program in partnership with Detroit businesses in the utility, automotive, healthcare, finance, and local suppliers. Using the U.S. Chamber Foundation Talent Pipeline Management strategies developed an employer-designed certification program to fill talent demands. Created diversity through workforce readiness workshops, a readynow solution, for a talent pipelines. Developed a Summer Youth Internship, on-property and virtual programs, sharing documented process and tools for other organizations to use. Designed a pre-apprenticeship readiness training program that benefits gas, electric, construction and engineering at a community college focused on classroom-to-career-in-one year. In partnership with DTE, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Michigan Department of Corrections, and industry partners, lead a cross-functional team to implement first-of-its-kind apprenticeship readiness Line Clearance Tree Trim Program for returning citizens at Parnall Correctional Facility. The program, within Parnall, allows returning citizens to obtain up to six months credit towards an apprenticeship prior to their release.
Deborah also serves on the Michigan Energy Workforce Development Consortium leadership team as Vice Chair and also volunteers and serves on her parish’s leadership team.
