Building High-Performing Talent Pipelines

The TPM Academy trains business, workforce, and economic development leaders on the Talent Pipeline Management (TPM) approach, a demand-driven strategy to create real career pathways for students and workers with talent pipelines aligned to dynamic business needs.

THE ACADEMY

The TPM Academy is an in-person or virtual training, facilitated by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, for state and local chambers, business association and economic development agency leaders, as well as employers, to learn to drive partnerships with their education and training providers based on industry need. Graduates of the TPM Academy become members of a national network of workforce development leaders and TPM practitioners.

The National Learning Network

Engagement with TPM does not end after the TPM Academy. The TPM National Learning Network (NLN) benefits from a peer-to-peer exchange of best practices, networking, and continued learning. Members participate in ongoing activities such as quarterly and special topic webinars, in-person summits, and technical assistance check-ins. TPM Co/Lab™ provides the collaboration space for the TPM NLN to learn from one another.

ABOUT THE INITIATIVE

The demands of today’s economy require a strategic alignment between classroom and career that better supports students in their transition to the workforce. More than 2,000 employers across the country are finding that alignment and seeing results by making TPM a priority.
