Tracy DiSanto began her journey at General Motors in 2021 as the Assistant Director of DEI Workforce Design. Recently, she has expanded her role to include the title of Assistant Director of Talent Equity, effectively managing both positions within the company. Before her tenure at General Motors, Tracy dedicated over 19 years to DTE Energy, where she held various roles. She started in 2002 as the Manager of Audit Services and progressed through multiple positions in finance and human resources. She concluded her career at DTE Energy as the Senior Manager of Strategic Workforce Planning and Development, where she oversaw the enterprise strategic workforce planning process.
Prior to her extensive career at DTE Energy, Tracy spent more than 11 years in public accounting with prestigious firms such as Ernst & Young, LLP, and Arthur Andersen, LLP. In addition to her professional roles, Tracy served as the co-chair of the Michigan Workforce Development Consortium for over 8 years. The Michigan Workforce Consortium is an industry-led partnership focused on addressing current and future workforce challenges essential to Michigan’s energy sector.
